Mr Wembridge is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in the NHS at Rotherham General Hospital


Having graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1993, he gained his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons in 1998 and achieved his Fellowship in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery in 2005, with entry to the Specialist Register for Orthopaedics in 2006.  He also trained at Guy's & St Thomas's Hospital in London and was appointed Consultant in October 2006, moving to his current position in Rotherham General Hospital in March 2010.


Mr Wembridge's main areas of interest are hip and knee surgery, including complex primary and revision procedures.  He also undertakes arthroscopic knee surgery.


He has published research on hip and foot surgery and won prizes at National and International conferences.

He is actively involved in training junior orthopaedic staff of all levels and is the Clinical Lead for the junior grade orthopaedic staff in Rotherham. Mr Wembridge is the Deputy Programme Director for the South Yorkshire Rotation.
